A few weeks ago, word on the grapevine indicated that the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Ultra were codenamed "Cupid" and "Zeus" respectively. Xiaomi's own Mi code has now confirmed that, while also providing some more information on the company's plans.
According to Xiaomiui, MIUI code has now revealed four devices in Xiaomi's plans that will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 898. The devices are codenamed "Cupid", "Zeus", "Ingres", and "Wukong". Three of those are direct references to mythical beings, but it's unknown what "Ingres" refers to.
As previously mentioned, "Cupid" and "Zeus" are the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Ultra. The source reckons that "Ingres" could be the Redmi K50—or, more likely, the Redmi K50 Pro—while "Wukong" could be a Poco device. That may be the Poco F4 or Poco F4 Pro. It's important to note that the bits about the Redmi K50 and Poco F4 are speculation at the moment. We'll be sure to keep you updated when more information surfaces.
