We are only a few days away the arrival of the 11T and 11T Pro, Xiaomi's next upper-midrange smartphones. The pair have already leaked several times though, as we have reported previously. Now, @_snoopytech_ has revealed several key specifications about both devices.
Based on the renders published so far, it seems that both devices have the same rear-facing cameras, including a 108 MP primary camera. Additionally, the pair have AMOLED displays, an improvement on the IPS panels in the Mi 10T series. Refresh rates have reduced from 144 Hz to 120 Hz, though. On the other hand, the inclusion of 'adaptive sync' branding implies that the 11T series will vary their refresh rates from 1-120 Hz, theoretically reducing power consumption.
However, there are two major differences between the 11T and 11T Pro. As expected, only the latter will utilise Xiaomi Hyper Charge, shortened to 'HyperCharge' in the renders below. While the 11T does not support Xiaomi's 120 W proprietary charging method, it will be capable of charging at up to 67 W.
Moreover, Xiaomi will distinguish the 11T Pro from the 11T with SoCs. Specifically, the Xiaomi 11T has the MediaTek Dimensity 1200, a 6 nm chip with four ARM Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. By contrast, the Xiaomi 11T Pro utilises the Snapdragon 888, the current go-to flagship SoC got many Android OEMs.
Xiaomi will unveil the 11T and 11T on September 15, alongside at least the 11 Lite 5G NE and the Pad 5. The hardware launch event will occur just a day after Apple's, where it is expected to unveil the iPhone 13 and Watch Series 7.
