The "Motorola Moto E30" pops up on Geekbench ahead of launch
Motorola is now believed to have 2 further Moto E-series phones to launch before the end of 2021. Of these, the E20 now has a much clearer picture painted of itself than the putative E30. However, a new leak might offer a sharper image of the latter as well, due to its plausibility in comparison to that of its alleged sibling thus far.
Then again, this phone has appeared by its rumored product name in full ("motorola moto e30") on Geekbench 5 several times over by now, whereas the "E20" may have appeared on the same platform under its code-name ("aruba").
Nevertheless, both phones' stories are now fairly consistent, detected as having 2GB of RAM each and as running Android 11 on Geekbench. The possible E30, like the E20, also seems to have a Unisoc processor; however, as it has a clock-speed of 1.82GHz, it is most likely not the same SoC from the previous Motorola leak.
Therefore, it is now more certain that the Moto E20 and E30 are incoming as profoundly budget smartphones, although the E30 might be the better-spec'd variant. Then again, nothing more of the allegedly cost-effective new Motorola hardware has been seen to date.
