A handful of tips, some from prominent leakers, have asserted that Motorola will launch new additions to the Moto E series of budget smartphones soon - in fact, some of them have already been proven true with the launch of the E20. Now, a set of Geekbench results indicate that it is to get not 1 but 2 siblings in the near future.
This one is the only "Moto Ex0" that has gone unpredicted thus far; on the other hand, its new sighting might serve to demonstrate that it is simply a more powerful version of the "Moto E30". The E40 has been assessed as having certain important specs in common with its rumored fellow phone.
They include Android 11 as an OS, not to mention a Unisoc processor clocked at 1.82GHz - just like listings for the "E30" on the same platform. In addition, the putative E40 also seems to have the code-name cyprus64: again, almost exactly like that of the other possibly pre-launch Motorola device.
On the other hand, the "E40" has 4GB of RAM, whereas the "E30" (like the newly real-life E20) has 2GB. Therefore, this alleged Motorola Moto E-series device might indeed turn out as a SKU of another with more RAM. On the other hand, there is still potential for a different screen or so on should the E40 truly debut soon as projected.
