Motorola is an OEM not typically associated with tablets. Nevertheless, a leaker now asserts that it will launch just such a device during Flipkart's upcoming Big Billion Day Sale, scheduled to take place in October 2021. The company is thought to get help from its owner Lenovo in pulling this premiere off.

Flipkart's Big Billion Day Sale 2021 might be a good chance for fans of the Indian online platform to grab a good deal on that device they might have had their eye on for a while. However, Motorola is now rumored to have a new product to offer alongside its existing smartphones and accessories.

According to the leaker Yogesh Brar, it is to be called the Moto Tab 8, and, thus, will be a tablet. Based on an image posted alongside this new claim, it may not be a completely original device. In fact, this "new Motorola slate" might turn out to be a re-brand of the Lenovo Tab M8 FHD.

As such, this alleged rare foray into the larger-screen mobile category for Motorola might have an 8-inch 1200x1920 display driven by a Helio P22T SoC. Should this new tip prove accurate, it now remains to be seen if Motorola will tweak the rest of its specs in any way before debuting it under its brand. On that note, the "Moto Tab 8" could expect a change of Android skin, if not a new rear panel, at the least.
