Motorola Moto G9 Plus and Moto E7 Plus launched in the UK and Europe with 5,000 mAh batteries, large displays and expandable storage
Motorola has brought the Moto E7 Plus and Moto G9 Plus in the UK and the rest of Europe, following their launches in Brazil last week. The two devices may look similar, but Motorola has kitted them out in different hardware save for their 5,000 mAh batteries and 4 GB of RAM. The more powerful of the two is the Moto G9 Plus, which has not only a more powerful chipset but also a higher-resolution and larger screen.
Specifically, the Moto G9 Plus comes with a 6.8-inch and 1080p panel compared to the 6.5-inch and 720p one in the Moto E9 Plus. Both are IPS panels, though. Motorola has also equipped the Moto G9 Plus with a Snapdragon 730G chipset and 128 GB of expandable storage. The Moto E9 Plus has expandable storage too, but it has the less powerful Snapdragon 460 SoC, instead.
Additionally, the Moto E9 Plus has three cameras to the five in the Moto G9 Plus. The latter also has higher-resolution cameras across the board, including a 64 MP primary sensor. Finally, the Moto G9 Plus has a USB Type-C that will recharge the device a lot faster than the micro USB port in the Moto E9 Plus.
The Moto E9 Plus retails for £129 in the UK and €149 in Europe. Meanwhile, the Moto G9 Plus costs £259 in the UK and €269 in Europe. Neither device can be ordered from Motorola or third-party retailers yet, but a press release states that they will be available 'in the coming weeks'.
