Motorola has already launched the new Moto E20, and is also rumored to debut the E30 if not the E40 to join it soon. Now, it has emerged that the latter might do so alongside a first for its budget series: a non-standard refresh rate.
The famous tipster Evan Blass has posted what looks like an official teaser or poster for the E40 citing a 90Hz rate. In a world now full of affordable phones to which this spec has trickled down, the Moto E series has yet to see one. Then again, the panel involved is described as a 6.5-inch HD+ MaxVision display, and, thus, is likely to be LCD as in the E20.
As the Moto E40 is also painted as a Unisoc-powered device, it will be interesting to see if the as-yet unnamed SoC in question can really support an advanced display refresh rate. The phone is also now touted to have a "triple rear camera system" with a 48MP main sensor. Nevertheless, the Moto E40 lacks a confirmed launch date as yet.
