Xiaomi has confirmed that at least the 11T Pro will support Hyper Charge technology, delivering up to 120 W charging. Xiaomi 11T assets have also leaked, pointing to IPS displays, a 108 MP camera and perhaps even a 3.5 mm headphone jack for the 11T series.

Yesterday, Xiaomi started teasing the 11T and 11T Pro, the successors to last year's Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro. However, it has since confirmed that the 11T Pro will support Xiaomi Hyper Charge, a marketing term for 120 W charging. Presumably, this feature will only be available on the 11T Pro, and not the 11T as well.

Xiaomi has sought to calm nerves about the safety of its Hyper Charge technology, too. In a separate post, the company explains that the 11T Pro features a 'real-time temperature control monitoring system' and contains multiple other battery-related safety features.

Supposedly, Xiaomi's 120 W-capable batteries retain 80% capacity after 800 charge and discharge cycles, which it claims will yield a longer lifespan than 'typical smartphones in the market today'. As always, we would recommend reserving judgement until independent reviews of the Xiaomi 11T Pro arrive.

Incidentally, marketing assets of the 11T have leaked, courtesy of @xiaomiui and @_snoopytech_. Reputedly, @_snoopytech_ found these renders on an 'official case maker's website. @xiaomiui has not hinted at what it got its renders from, but they are identical to those that @_snoopytech_ published. Hence, we imagine that they both sourced them from the same website.

The renders do not reveal much in the way of specifics about the 11T series, although there are a few points to note. Based on the images, the Xiaomi 11T has a 108 MP primary camera, which we would expect Xiaomi to re-use in the 11T Pro. The 11T also has two other rear-facing cameras, likely ultra-wide and macro sensors.

Additionally, the protective case hints at the 11T series featuring a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, like its predecessors. If that is the case, then Xiaomi may have equipped the 11T series with an IPS display. Furthermore, there is a hole at the top of the case, seemingly for a 3.5 mm jack. We cannot confirm this from the other renders, though. Xiaomi will announce the Mi 11T series on September 15.
