Xiaomi 12 Lite: Stunning live images confirm a 108 MP camera for the budget Xiaomi 12 series phone
It's already been firmly established that Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi 12 Lite as the budget offering in the Xiaomi 12 series. The mid-range phone now looks to have made its first real-world appearance, ahead of launch.
These images were shared on Weibo and show the Xiaomi 12 Lite with a design identical to its more premium siblings in the Xiaomi 12 series, with one large main camera and two vertically stacked, smaller lenses beneath it. The camera module also confirms the presence of a 108 MP camera. That's likely the same ISOCELL HM2 on phones like the Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. Unlike the Redmi K50 Pro, however, there's no inscription confirming the presence of OIS. It's safe to say that the Xiaomi 12 Lite lacks that, especially since the Xiaomi 11 Lite phones didn't get that feature either.
Cameras aside, the Xiaomi 12 Lite sports an iPhone-esque flat edge design, just like the Redmi Note 11 phones. That's an interesting choice, seeing as the other Xiaomi 12 series models all have curved edges. There's a hole punch at the front of the phone as well.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite is expected to feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED, a Snapdragon 778G, 32 MP selfie camera, 67 W charging, and stereo speakers. It will run Android 12-based MIUI 13. Launch information remains unknown but we'll keep you updated.
