Xiaomi has debuted the OLED Vision 55 and 12 Pro for Indian consumers today; furthermore, there is a screen-size to fit in between in the Pad 5. The new 11-inch tablet has a 120Hz 2.5K+ display, much like that of the flagship smartphone, although it is LCD rather than AMOLED in this case.
Nevertheless, Xiaomi asserts that the Pad 5 is ideal for video consumption or gaming, thanks to its reduced blue-light emissions and color accuracy. The tablet also supports Dolby Vision and covers the DCI-P3 color gamut.
On the other hand, the MIUI 13-powered tablet is also touted as ready to spring into action should the user need it to get some work done, thanks to its Snapdragon 860 processor.
Then again, no mention of the tablet's keyboard dock or Smart Pen (the latter of which is a particularly recommended companion according to Xiaomi) as additional purchases were made in debuting the tablet's Indian-market units.
They are to become available as Wi-Fi 5-only SKUs with 6GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. They can be ordered at prices of INR 26,999 and INR 28,999 respectively, through channels such as mi.com.in, the Xiaomi smart home app, Amazon, and retailers throughout India.
