Leaks about upcoming DJI products may have centred on the Mini 3 Pro in the last few weeks, but the company also has the Inspire 3 Planned. As we reported earlier this month, @DealsDrone already managed to get its hands on photos of a crashed Inspire 3 prototype that revealed a few details about the unreleased drone.
Subsequently, @OsitaLV has shared a video of the Inspire 3 mid-flight, which we have embedded below. Unsurprisingly, the design shown matches the one seen in @DealsDrone's earlier leak. Purportedly, someone had taken the Inspire 3 for a field test, presumably as part of the drone's development.
Unfortunately, not much can be gleaned from the video, other than that the Inspire 3 can fly with its landing gear raised, a similarity it shares with its predecessor. Based on a leaked roadmap, the Inspire 3 should arrive in September 2022.
While the @OsitaLV has not shared a launch date yet, the fact that the drone is being tested implies that DJI will is working towards a release later this year. Please keep in mind that these launch dates can change, as is supposedly the case with the Mini 3 Pro.
It's Inspire 3 field test, the witness who sent this video to me said it was a Zenmuse X9-like gimbal mounted on it with a super long zoom lense. I think they were running an extreme dynamic test for that new gimbal.
