It seems that DJI is preparing to release the Inspire 3, a follow-up to the ageing Inspire 2. While the Inspire 3 will retain some of its predecessor's features, it could also utilise a more compact chassis, among other changes.

Focus on upcoming DJI drones is centred on the Mini 3 series currently, which is expected to arrive later this month as the Mini 3 and Mini 3 Pro. However, @DealsDrone has highlighted images of the Inspire 3, another drone that DJI is rumoured to have in development. For reference, DJI also revealed the M30 and M30T last month, a pair of drones intended for enterprise users.

Seemingly, @DealsDrone has shown photos of a crashed prototype, judging by its markings. Based on the two images, the Inspire 3 appears to be slightly more compact than the Inspire 2. Conversely, its predecessor's foldable propellors have returned, which can also be seen in the M30 and M30T. Also, Drone Zone suggests that the Inspire 3 will offer the Inspire 2's transformation mechanism.

Based on @DealsDrone's leaked roadmap, the Inspire 3 will not arrive until September, two months before the Pocket 3. By contrast, the RS3, RSC3 and FPV Mini are all thought to be launching this summer, although neither the RS3 or RSC3 are drones. Unfortunately, Inspire 3 pricing has not leaked. Presumably, the Inspire 3 will cost as much as its predecessor, which starts at US$3,299.
