According to a leaked roadmap, DJI plans to release multiple new products next year, including a Mini 3 drone. Supposedly, a DJI Pocket 3 is due too, among other devices.

@DealsDrone has published a table that outlined products that DJI has or will release between 2019 and 2022. Embedded below, the table outlines that DJI will release the following devices next year, starting with the Mini 3 drone in April.

  • April 2022: DJI Mini 3
  • June 2022: DJI RS3/RSC3
  • July 2022: DJI FPV Mini
  • September 2022: DJI Inspire 3
  • November 2022: DJI Pocket 3

We should stress that it is unclear from where @DealsDrone obtained their data. However, they point out that these dates are guesses, seemingly based on past product releases. Nonetheless, they claim to have confirmed that DJI will announce the FPV Mini, Mini 3 and Inspire 3.

Unfortunately, @DealsDrone has not provided any details about what we should expect from any of these upcoming DJI devices. Presumably, more details will appear in early next year, especially if the leaker is correct with their prediction of an April 2022 release for the Mini 3.

In the meantime, DJI has announced a software update for the Mavic 3, its latest drone. Released last month as the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine, the drone was missing several advertised features at launch. You can read what changes DJI has made in our corresponding article
