DJI Osmo Pocket 3 launch date leaks along with new promo material
DJI is now firmly linked to a new Pocket camera that might outdo its predecessor in terms of being the ultimate dedicated video recording gadget. Now, the leaker responsible is back with more alleged promos, containing a launch date for the upcoming product this time.
Igor Bogdanov, also known as Quadro_News on Twitter/X, seeks to confirm the Osmo Pocket 3's ability to check a number of upgrade boxes as alluded to earlier, a switch to an extra-large, flagship smartphone-grade sensor included.
Its lens will apparently be mounted on a stalk that supports "Mechanical Stabilization" via an on-board "3-Axis Gimbal", further enhanced by the latest ActiveTrack 6.0 algorithms.
On that note, a Pocket 3 may be able to switch easily between portrait and landscape shooting, as implied by its series-first "2-inch Rotatable Screen". Meanwhile, an Amazon seller might also have slipped up in efforts at keeping the 3rd-gen camera's existence under wraps by listing a "Wide-Angle Lens for DJI Osmo Pocket/Pocket 3" in advance.
Nevertheless, the device now stands to be touted as a vlogging camera with beyond "Pocket-Sized" versatility on its alleged October 25, 2023 debut.
