The Galaxy A05s is coming to India to take over from the A04s, currently priced at INR 11,999 (~US$144) on Amazon.in for a 4GB SKU. On that note, Samsung has inadvertently revealed that its successor will be available with either the same amount of RAM or as a top-end 6GB model on its release.
These variants' new support pages, for the Samsung SM-A057FLVGINS and SM-A057FZKHINS respectively, also reveal that the A05s will run a build of One UI based on Android 13 in its new market. They also help explain an official graphic claiming that the budget device will have something called "12GB with RAM Plus".
Accordingly, it seems the A05s will support the feature that 'extends' its RAM with a certain amount of internal storage (probably up to 6GB of it in this case) on its Indian launch. That event will take place on October 18, 2023, whereupon Samsung will outline pricing and availability for the new potentially affordable yet still 50MP rear camera device.
