OUKITEL has started selling the WP23 Pro, only a day or so after details about the WP30 Pro leaked online. Like many of its smartphones, OUKITEL bills the WP23 Pro as being robust enough for most conditions, for which it has received IP68 and IP69K certifications. Additionally, the company has included a 10,600 mAh battery, over double the capacity of many large smartphones like the Pixel 8 Pro and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Moreover, OUKITEL has included a 6.52-inch IPS display with a 720p resolution, 400 nits peak brightness and an apparent 60 Hz refresh rate. Also, a UNISOC Tiger T606 underpins the WP23 Pro, which features two ARM Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores based on a 12 nm manufacturing process. According to OUKITEL's product listing, it complements the budget chipset with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, although the latter is expandable with a MicroSD card.
Furthermore, the WP23 Pro has a 13 MP primary camera, plus 5 MP front-facing and a pair of auxiliary rear-facing cameras. The OUKITEL WP23 Pro is available to order now in three colour options, albeit all with a mainly black finish. While OUKITEL has given the WP23 Pro a US$239.99 MSRP, the company currently sells the handset on its website for US$169.99 with free shipping.
