The Samsung Galaxy M4x line has not seen an update since the M42 of 2021. However, it now seems the series is not skipping another generation, as the M44 is on the way.
The device has been spotted on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) database, with the same model number as seen in its alleged leak to Geekbench. The SIG also categorically confirms that the device has a (slightly odd choice of) 5G-capable processor, which also supports slightly outdated Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
Therefore, the M44 might come in at a reasonable price-point on its eventual launch. The device has yet to pop up in render form (or, oddly enough, to manifest a Galaxy A- or F-series counterpart); however, it stands a good chance of upgrading to Samsung's up-to-date triple camera ring design language.
