Xiaomi is now slated to take its current Pad 6 series to the "Max", in at least 1 sense of the word. The possibly super-sized variant is thought to join its vanilla and Pro siblings on the Android tablet soon, with its own first-party keyboard dock to boot. The accessory has now been certified as a Bluetooth accessory, presumably in preparation for its launch.

Xiaomi has yet to bring the Pro version of its latest flagship tablet to international markets; however, its fans may now be able to turn their hopes to a new, possibly even higher-end variant, instead. One might assume that it would be called the Pad 6 Ultra in this day and age; however, according to the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG), it is called the Max instead.

Then again, the Group has not certified the "Xiaomi Pad 6 Max" itself quite yet: the only reference to the putative tablet thus far is appended with additional Chinese text that translates to "Smart Touch Keyboard". That would explain why it is now approved to use Bluetooth 5.1, rather than 5.2 at the least in the existing Pad 6 devices.

Then again, this new wireless accessory leak comes with what might be a genuine Xiaomi model number (23078KB5BC). Accordingly, its appearance on the Bluetooth SIG website has sparked rumors that a new and possibly even bigger successor to the Pad 5 Pro 12.4 is on the way.
