Onyx is on a roll lately, having introduced the BOOX Tab Ultra C, BOOX Tab Mini C and BOOX Page within the last few months. Now, the company has turned its attention to the BOOX Palma, an E-reader with a 6.13-inch e-ink display. Specifically, the BOOX Palma relies on an E Ink Carta 1200 panel that resolves at 824 x 1648 pixels with a 300 PPI.
According to Onyx, the new E-reader has adjustable dual-tone front lights and a 3,950 mAh battery. Moreover, the BOOX Palma relies on an unnamed Qualcomm octa-core chipset, aided by 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 flash storage. For reference, all these components sit within a 159 x 80 x 8 mm housing that weighs approximately 170 g, making it about as large as a modern smartphone.
