Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus: First renders surface as Galaxy Tab S7 FE lookalike
@OnLeaks has partnered with WolfofTablet again to deliver another first look at a future Galaxy Tab S9 series tablet. To recap, the pair were the first to leak renders of the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, which Samsung will introduce on July 26 alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, among other devices. Now, they have revealed renders of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus, a larger alternative to the forthcoming Galaxy Tab S9 FE.
While Samsung has not released a Galaxy Tab S FE tablet in over two years, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus appears practically unchanged from the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. According to @OnLeaks and WolfofTablet, the former measures 285.4 x 185.4 x 6.54 mm, which is within a margin of error of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE's dimensions. Thus, we would expect Samsung to equip the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus with a 12.4-inch display, unchanged from the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. Incidentally, the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus is also rumoured to contain a 12.4-inch panel, albeit a higher resolution, faster and Super AMOLED alternative.
Moreover, it seems that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will have an 11-inch display, assuming that FE models follow the display sizes of their flagship counterparts. Reputedly, Samsung will release both FE tablets in October with four launch colour options. Based on earlier leaks, Samsung will equip the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus with an Exynos 1380 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. If that is the case, then the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus will edge out the Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE, which has a Snapdragon 778G. Conversely, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus will outperform the 5G version of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE by roughly 30%.
