BOOX' latest premium tablet has the same specs as a 4GB RAM/128GB Tab Ultra - except that it swaps that slate's Carta display for one that can support 4,096 colors at a resolution of 1240 x 930 (or 150 ppi) as well as black and white in 2480 x 1860 (300 ppi).
The Tab Ultra C also still supports its brand's Super Refresh Technology to enhance the "smooth" performance of its octa-core processor with an "exclusive" GPU. It also supports 24 different file formats, .pdf, .mp3, .epub and .html included, so that the user might be able to work and entertain themselves as well as normal.
Then again, the new and colorful Ultra C is the first BOOX tablet to support third-party cloud storage services, as well as "additional link options" and new "text note" facilities - although it is still on Android 11 out of the box.
Nevertheless, BOOX has priced the Tab Ultra C at US$599.99 with a Pen2 Pro, or US$50 more for an "Early Bird" bundle with extra tips for said stylus, a magnetic keyboard dock and a case. It is available via boox.com only for now, and will join its Tab Ultra forebear on Amazon toward the end of May 2023.
