The Xiaomi Pad 6 series has been available in the form of new 11-inch Android slates thus far, even at the Pro level. However, its existing variants are now tipped to become dwarfed by its impending Max sibling, which has been predicted to become a Pad 5 Pro 12.4 successor - however, it might be even bigger than that.
According to the leaker Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will be able to challenge the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with an on-trend 14-inch display. That brand-first form-factor would allow it to stand out on the Chinese market, where the slate is expected to start out alongside the Mix Fold 3 soon.
The Pad 6 Max's unusually large display is believed to be driven by the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 of the 6 Pro. Its supposedly bigger sibling is also now slated to come with "greatly improved" audiovisual properties, performance and UX thanks to its version of MIUI, although whether it is supposed to be better than the 6 Pro or 5 Pro in these terms is not clear thus far.
