Xiaomi recently confirmed its plans to launch its next-gen premium foldable smartphone, the Mix Fold 3, in China next month. All available information seems to indicate the Fold 3 will not debut alone, though, and will instead be joined by a slew of models.
According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi has at least four new mobile devices in the pipes for an August launch, with all four now being registered in China. In addition to the Mix Fold 3, it appears Xiaomi will also debut the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, Redmi Pad 2, and Redmi K60 Ultra next month.
The Mix Fold 3, codenamed "babylon", and Pad 6 Max, codenamed "yudi", look set to arrive with 67 W charging, and are expected to launch with the Android 13-based MIUI 14, likely in the second week of August. Both devices are tipped to remain exclusive to Xiaomi's home market of China, however.
It appears the Redmi K60 Ultra and Redmi Pad 2 will debut together at a different event, expected to be before the Mix Fold 3 and Pad 6 Max launch. The Redmi K60 Ultra has been registered with 120 W charging, while the Redmi Pad 2 could feature either 22.5 W or 18 W charging.
