The Redmi K60 Ultra will be the world's second smartphone after the OnePlus Ace 2 to feature 1 TB of storage and 24 GB of RAM. It will be launched on August 14 alongside the Mi Mix Fold 3 in China.

Numerous leaks (and Redmi itself) have confirmed many of the Redmi K60 Ultra's specs. It has everything a high-end smartphone needs, complete with a 144 Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ and 120 Watt fast charging. That isn't the end of it, though, as the smartphone will also pack copious amounts of memory and storage.

Redmi's latest teaser (via Ice Universe on Twitter) confirms the Redmi K60 Ultra will feature up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. It isn't the first of its kind, though, with that position being taken by the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. Unlike recent launches that advertise 24 GB of memory, of which a significant portion is "virtual" memory, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro and Redmi K60 Ultra will have actual memory modules summing up to 24 GB.

Xiaomi will unveil the Redmi K60 Ultra alongside the Mi Mix Fold 3 on August 14 via a three-hour-long event. For global audiences, the former will arrive as the Xiaomi 13T Pro, likely in September. However, its memory is rumoured to max out at 16 GB, which is still plenty for a smartphone.
