Early design of Redmi K60 Ultra and Xiaomi 13T Pro shown
Digital Chat Station has shared a sketch of another Redmi K60 series member, currently thought of as the Redmi K60 Ultra. While technical details about the device have emerged previously, Digital Chat Station's sketch offers the first insight into what the Redmi K60 Ultra could actually look like. Incidentally, Xiaomi is expected to release the Redmi K60 Ultra outside China as the Xiaomi 13T Pro, one-half of the Xiaomi 13T series.
Based on the image embedded below, the Xiaomi 13T Pro will have thinner display bezels than the Xiaomi 12T Pro, which shares its roots with the Redmi K50 Ultra. Seemingly, the T series model will look more like the Xiaomi 13, which has the thinnest bezels of any Xiaomi smartphone for now. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the centred punch hole remains, with Xiaomi continuing to restrict its under-display camera technologies to MIX smartphones.
Likewise, Digital Chat Station's sketch shows an earpiece that rests above the display, mirroring other recent high-end Xiaomi smartphones. The Xiaomi 13T Pro will have a larger camera housing, though. If the below sketch is accurate, then the Xiaomi 13T Pro and Redmi K60 Ultra will have two large rear-facing camera lenses, plus what we imagine is an auxiliary depth or macro rear-facing camera. For now, the Xiaomi 13T Pro is rumoured to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset, a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 50 MP (Sony IMX800) primary camera. If Xiaomi follows last year's release schedule, the Redmi K60 Ultra will arrive in late Q3 2023, while the Xiaomi 13T Pro debuting a few months later in Q4 2023.
