Tecno has officially brought its latest Camon-series smartphones to the Indian market, its 20 Premier flagship included. It packs a 108MP shooter in its distinctive, angular rear camera hump, and also offers a large AMOLED display driven by a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity processor. It is joined by 20 and 20 Pro siblings slated to start at ~US$180 in their new region.

Tecno has now confirmed that the Camon 20 series will join its predecessors on Amazon.in soon. They drop designs such as a limited-edition Mondrian-inspired theme for a new "masterful aesthetic" finish that will help the up-to-120Hz FHD AMOLED display smartphones stand out in the mid-tier space.

They consist of the 20 Premier, 20 and 20 Pro, the last of which has a non-5G version that is apparently not coming to the Indian market. Nevertheless, the Pro will debut with the same 'new' MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC, as will the 20 Premier.

The series' best 108MP main camera remains exclusive to the Premier model, however. Its pricing has yet to be announced, although the 20 Pro and 20 are said to start at INR 14,999 (~US$181) and INR 19,999 (~US$241).

The vanilla 20 is slated to be released tomorrow (May 29, 2023), whereas the Pro and Premier variants will wait until June 2023 to become available through Tecno's Amazon store in India. The latest Camon-series smartphones will have at least 2 color options apiece, and come with a Memory Fusion feature rated to extend their RAM to as much as 16GB each.
