Tecno Phantom V Flip case leaks purport to confirm design and imminent launch for new foldable smartphone
Tecno is rumored to make brand-new clamshell foldables affordable as of 2023 with the Phantom V Flip. They device might have a design similar to that of the Motorola Razr 40 or Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, yet hit a different price-point by compromising on specs such as its SoC.
Now, you can apparently buy a case for the smartphone - one made with "aramid" too. Vopmart claims that its new Phantom V Flip case has full "anti-shock, anti-fall" protection despite its "light to thin" design, and certainly looks the part with its classic "Carbon Fiber" pattern in black.
It purports to demonstrate that it allows access to all of the device's side-mounted buttons via a single cut-out, and that the V Flip's cover display is indeed set within a wide camera ring.
The V Flip case sales race is not confined to this website either, as at least 1 seller on Amazon seem to believe that they can compete with their own vegan leather-finished cases for the V Flip.
However, the fact remains that Tecno has yet to acknowledge the existence of the smartphone in question, even though it conceivably had an ideal chance to do so during the recent IFA 2023 event. Whether these case manufacturers know something the rest of us don't or not remains to be seen.
