OnePlus Open to launch next month as leaker shares Oppo Find N3 packaging
Max Jambor has shed light on the whereabouts of the OnePlus Open, a foldable that the company first teased in July. Since then, Huawei has released the Mate X5, while the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Pixel Fold are now readily available. By contrast, OnePlus has been quiet about its first foldable, which is rumoured to be the global version of the Oppo Find N3.
Oppo has not disclosed any details about the Find N3 either, despite launching the Find N3 Flip in China nearly a month ago. Incidentally, Evan Blass has now shared a shot of Find N3 retail packaging, confirming that the device is in development. Embedded below, the image does not provide many details about the Find N3, other than it will be another Oppo foldable to sport Hasselblad camera tunings.
According to Jambor, OnePlus will officially launch the Open on October 19. So far, OnePlus has only confirmed that the Open 'will be launched soon', which it outlined during TechCrunch Disrupt 2023. Nonetheless, Jambor insists that OnePlus has set that date for the device's global introduction, adding that 'sales won't be long after'. Presumably, OnePlus will begin teasing the Open within the next few days if this is the case, as will Oppo for the Find N3 in China.
