Samsung Galaxy A15 renders could show the way for Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus
@OnLeaks has partnered with The Tech Outlook to share renders of the Galaxy A15, presumably Samsung's cheapest Galaxy A series handset after the Galaxy A05 or Galaxy A05s. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy A15 resembles the current Galaxy A14, with three rear-facing cameras separated into individual housings, a flat display and a front-facing camera sat behind a waterdrop notch. If @OnLeaks' measurements are accurate, the Galaxy A15 will be significantly smaller than its predecessor too.
Specifically, the Galaxy A15 is said to measure 160.2 x 76.8 x 8.4 mm, compared to 167.7 x 78 x 9.1 mm for the Galaxy A14. While specifications remain unknown for now, @OnLeaks' renders reveal that the Galaxy A15 has a thinner bottom bezel, albeit without reaching uniform status across all sides. Moreover, Samsung has redesigned the device's downward-firing speaker, which now resembles a pill-shaped cut-out.
Also, the Galaxy A15 sports a new frame style in which the area surrounding the power button and volume rocker juts out slightly. The rest of the frame has a much flatter finish than on current Samsung Galaxy smartphones though, Galaxy A and Galaxy S series included. Given that Samsung has taken to adopting the same design language across its flagship and mid-range smartphones, we may eventually see this design replicated in the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus. @OnLeaks has not revealed a release date for the Galaxy A15 either, although the Galaxy S24 series is rumoured to be arriving in January 2024, a month before the anniversary of its predecessors.
