MySmartPrice and @OnLeaks have teamed up once again, a week after the pair shared updated renders of the OnePlus 12. Now, they have turned their attention to the Samsung Galaxy A05s, an entry-level smartphone that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certified last month for sale in the US. For reference, while the FCC's documentation confirmed various hardware details about the Galaxy A05s, the suggestion that the device had a single rear-facing camera was inaccurate.
Instead, the Galaxy A04s successor retains three rear-facing cameras, as well as its overall design. Thus, the Galaxy A05s has comparatively thick display bezels, unlike many modern Samsung smartphones. Additionally, Samsung has positioned the device's front-facing camera behind a small waterdrop notch, itself with reduced bezels compared to the equivalent in the Galaxy A04s.

However, Samsung has omitted the smooth transition between the frame and back panel that it used for the Galaxy A04s. In its place arrives a design reminiscent of other recent Galaxy smartphones. Specifically, a sharp edge exists between the Galaxy A05s' rounded frame and flat back panel.
Moreover, Samsung has given the latter a ribbed texture, presumably to improve ergonomics. Reportedly, the Galaxy A05s measures 167.9 x 77.7 x 8.8 mm, making it marginally taller, wider and thinner than its predecessor, which measures 164.7 x 76.7 x 9.1 mm. While MySmartPrice speculates about what hardware may underpin the Galaxy A05s, it remains to be seen when Samsung will introduce the smartphone or in which markets.
