Xiaomi Redmi Note 13: Launch date, display specifications, designs and three models confirmed by new teasers
Earlier this week, Xiaomi finally started teasing the release of the Redmi Note 13 series following the emergence of two devices at the 3C and MIIT. As we discussed at the time, Xiaomi outlined that the Redmi Note 13 series would arrive at the tail end of the month. Additionally, the company confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus would feature customised versions of the Dimensity 7200 and ISOCELL HP3, dubbed the Dimensity 7200 Ultra and Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition, respectively.
Now, it has been revealed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will be joined by the Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro. Moreover, Xiaomi has shared various device renders, some of which we have embedded below. Unsurprisingly, Xiaomi has persisted with the triple camera housing of last year's models, which it has separated into individual lenses for the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. By contrast, the back of the Redmi Note 13 Pro looks almost unchanged from the Redmi Note 12 Pro.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has detailed various Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus display specifications. As expected, the handset features a 1.5K AMOLED display with a curved finish, 1,800 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus coverage. Furthermore, Xiaomi has confirmed that all Redmi Note 13 models will utilise in-display fingerprint scanners, implying that AMOLED displays will be series-wide too. Presumably, Xiaomi will showcase more Redmi Note 13 series features before its September 21 launch event, which starts at 12:00 UTC.
