According to a report, Xiaomi could offer MIUI 15 to over 100 devices throughout late 2023 and into 2024. Currently, the major software revision is expected to arrive this autumn during the launch of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro.

Currently, Xiaomi is rumoured to be preparing the Xiaomi 14 series for release in November, in part because of Qualcomm's decision to release the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 next month. Typically, Xiaomi unveils a new major MIUI revision alongside its primary flagships, as has been the case in recent years. Hence, it seems likely that the company will soon present MIUI 15, albeit probably only the Chinese variant at first.

While Xiaomi has not commented on MIUI 15 yet, Xiaomiui has prepared a list of eligible and ineligible devices for the company's next software iteration. Allegedly, the list embedded below is '99% correct'. Although there is no way to measure this, Xiaomiui states that the majority of the devices listed below are sold with MIUI 13. Thus, they should receive at least one major MIUI update.

Purportedly, MIUI 15 will mark the end of official support for various popular smartphone series. For example, the Mi 10 series will remain on MIUI 14, as will all Redmi K30, Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 10 smartphones. Xiaomiui expects Xiaomi to drop nearly a dozen POCO smartphones too, leaving 16 models that it believes will move from MIUI 14 to MIUI 15. Presumably, global MIUI 15 builds will not land until early 2024, when the Xiaomi 14 series launches outside China.
