Ulefone Armor 22 to launch later this month with 120 Hz display and large battery for initial US$149.99

Ulefone has confirmed plans to launch the Armor 22, another rugged smartphone that arrives shortly after the Armor 23 Ultra. While the company had already unveiled the handset, it has waited until now before disclosing launch details. For reference, Ulefone equips the Armor 22 with a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of expandable storage.

To that end, Ulefone has included three card slots, one for MicroSD card expansion and two Nano SIM cards. Additionally, the Armor 22 features a 6.58-inch display with a 1080p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, Ulefone has included a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W wired charging but lacks any wireless charging functionality. According to the company, the Armor 22 also has a 64 MP primary camera based around the Sony IMX686, plus a night vision camera that uses the same sensor.

Furthermore, the Armor 22 is IP68 and IP69K certified against dust and water. Similarly, the handset is said to be MIL-STD-810G compliant. Please note that the latter is not independently verified. According to Ulefone, the Armor 22 will be available on September 18 with a US$299.99 MSRP through AliExpress. Alternatively, the company will sell the device for US$319.99 with 256 GB of storage. However, both storage variants will launch with 50% discounts at 07:00 UTC on September, reducing the pair to US$149.99 and US$159.99, respectively.
