GalaxyClub has discovered various details about the Galaxy Buds FE, purportedly via a user manual found on Samsung's South Korean website. As such, GalaxyClub's leak showcases not only the design of Samsung's first FE-branded earbuds, but also its core feature set. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Buds FE resemble the company's other Galaxy Buds earbuds, right down to the bundled charging case.
As GSMArena notes, the latter may be unchanged from the one that Samsung bundles with the Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Buds2 Pro. Thus, the charging case has small indents and two metal charging contacts for each earbud, as well as a USB Type-C charging port and two battery indicator lights. Meanwhile, the earbuds themselves appear to have two microphones each, a small area for touch controls and a touch-sensitive sensor for determining whether the earbuds are in your ear.
Based on other leaks, Samsung may present the Galaxy Buds FE in Q4 2023 at a dedicated Fan Edition launch event. Currently, the Galaxy S23 FE, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus are also rumoured to be in development, all as cheaper counterparts to Samsung's flagship offerings. For reference, specifications and hands-on photos of the Galaxy S23 FE recently surfaced online, which we have covered separately.
