Roland Quandt has revealed new details about the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE. To recap, only a few days have passed since GalaxyClub published initial information about Samsung's first Fan Edition-branded earbuds. For reference, the Dutch website claimed to have obtained its images from a user manual available on Samsung's website. Quandt has since reinforced this and has even shared a source to verify GalaxyClub's claims.
Additionally, the former has provided a closer look at the Galaxy Buds FE, which is rumoured to debut alongside the Galaxy S23 FE during a broader Fan Edition launch event. Based on previous leaks, the Galaxy Buds FE, Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE series will all arrive this autumn or before the end of Q4 2023. Incidentally, the Galaxy S23 FE may only hit shelves a few months before the Galaxy S24 series, which Samsung is expected to unleash in January 2024.
As the image above shows, the Galaxy Buds FE have a multi-part design with wing tips for improved comfort and fit. While Samsung will position the earbuds as cheaper alternatives to the Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Buds2 Pro, they will still feature touch controls and sensors for automatic playback control. Moreover, the Galaxy Buds FE is said to feature 12 mm drivers tuned by AKG. According to Quandt, Samsung will offer the Galaxy Buds FE in graphite and white finishes, both with US$99.99 retail prices.
