Motorola Moto G84 makes Indian debut with Snapdragon 695 and 120 Hz OLED display for under INR 20,000
Motorola has now launched the Moto G84 5G, which is only available in India for now. For reference, the company is also preparing to unveil the Moto G54 5G soon, first in China and then in India. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when either will receive a global release.
At any rate, Motorola equips the Moto G84 5G with a Snapdragon 695 chipset, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Additionally, the company powers its new mid-range handset with a 5,000 mAh battery that can recharge at 33 W via its USB Type-C port. Also, it is worth noting that the Moto G84 5G lacks any wireless charging support, which was the case with its direct predecessor too. Moreover, the Moto G84 5G has a 6.55-inch pOLED display that resolves at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,300 nits peak brightness.
As expected, Motorola has included 50 MP primary, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 16 MP front-facing cameras; only the 50 MP primary camera is optically stabilised, though. Incidentally, the Moto G84 5G is IP54 certified and ships with Android 13, which Motorola will eventually upgrade to at least Android 14. The Moto G84 5G is orderable now exclusively with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for INR 19,999 (~US$242). Please see Motorola's website for more details.
