Appuals has shared specifications for the Moto G54 5G, one of two mid-range smartphones that Motorola will launch next month. To recap, details about the Moto G54 5G first emerged at the start of August, which Evan Blass followed a few weeks later with a series of official marketing images. Most recently, Motorola confirmed that it would formally unveil the handset in China on September 5. However, it remains to be seen when it will reveal the Moto G54 5G elsewhere.
According to Appuals, Motorola has equipped the Moto G54 5G with the MediaTek Dimensity 7020, a 6 nm chipset with Cortex-A55 and Cortex-A78 CPU cores. Additionally, the Dimensity 7020 features the IMG BXM-8-256 GPU, which MediaTek also uses in the Dimensity 930. Reportedly, Motorola will complement the Dimensity 7020 with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM, as well as 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, respectively. As earlier rumours suggested, the Moto G54 5G will utilise a 6.5-inch LCD panel too that outputs at 1080p with a 120 Hz refresh rate in a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Moreover, the Moto G54 5G is said to have a 50 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 1.22 µm wide pixels that Motorola supported by OIS. Appuals adds that the handset should include 8 MP ultra-wide-angle (f/2.2) and 16 MP front-facing cameras (f/2.4), too. Supposedly, Motorola will limit all cameras to 1080p/30 FPS video recordings, with only the 50 MP primary camera also capable of recording at 60 FPS. Elsewhere, the Moto G54 5G is rumoured to contain a 6,000 mAh battery within its 161.56 x 73.82 x 8.89 mm and 196 g housing. A release date still remains unknown for now though, as does pricing and global availability.
