Motorola's rumored successor for the Edge 30 Neo has popped up again in a new leak prior to its reportedly imminent launch. It is now depicted as a device looking quite like the rest of its series, albeit with different colorways ostensibly developed by the OEM's brand partner Pantone. It might also has a screen type similar to that of its higher-end siblings.

The Edge 40 Neo is now believed to be the latest in a growing line of Motorola smartphones so strongly Pantone-themed that it has an iconic color-card proclaiming its exact shade right on its rear panel. In this case, vegan leather (or heavily textured glass) is finished in a choice of Caneel Bay, Black Beauty and Soothing Sea hues.

Then again, these potential details are not yet official, but are allegedly on show in advance as a new "360-degree" render posted to YouTube by the blog MySmartPrice. The video also purports to specify an Edge 40-esque camera hump, albeit with just 1 flash module for the supposedly upcoming Neo variant.

It is said to house a 50MP main shooter, whereas the punch-hole display is now slated as another 144Hz 6.55-inch pOLED display with curved edges. Then again, this screen might be driven by a relatively low-end Dimensity processor in this Edge 40-series variant, which might keep its price reasonable on its rumored September 2023 debut.
