Motorola Edge 30 Neo arrives with a colourful look and mid-range specifications
Motorola has presented the Edge 30 Neo, one of three smartphones that the company has announced today. Arguably the most colourful of the three, the Edge 30 Neo comes in Aqua Foam, Black Onyx and Very Peri colourways, which all conform to Pantone reference colours. Incidentally, Very Peri is Pantone's 'Color of the Year 2022'. All colours come with the same 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, though.
Additionally, Motorola equips the Edge 30 Neo with the Snapdragon 695, a mid-range chipset with an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 619 GPU. Supported by a 4,020 mAh battery, the chipset powers a 6.3-inch pOLED display that operates at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 419 PPI and a 20:9 aspect ratio. For reference, the Edge 30 Neo supports up to 68 W fast charging and 5 W wireless charging.

Moreover, Motorola includes three cameras, which can only record videos in up to 1080p. According to Motorola, the device's 64 MP primary camera supports OIS, 4-in-1 pixel binning and has an f/1.8 aperture. Also, the Edge 30 Neo has a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 32 MP selfie camera that also supports 4-in-1 pixel binning to create 8 MP images.
The Edge 30 Neo will be available within the next few days for €369.99 in the Eurozone. Like the Edge 30 Ultra, Motorola promises to deliver two major OS updates and three years of security patch updates. Unfortunately, the Edge 30 Neo launches with Android 12, not Android 13. Hence, software support for the device will cease with Android 14, which Google will release next year.
