The GT5 is touted as Realme's return to the upper echelons of the performance smartphone arena in 2023. Now, it seems it might indeed have a good chance of competing with its top-end specs, which include the new definition of maxed-out RAM. It might still run Android 13 out of the box, though.

The Realme GT series has targeted smartphones such as the POCO and OPPO Reno-series flagships at best over the last few years. Now, however, the brand has strongly intimated that its upcoming premium variant is prepared to come for devices such as the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, if not the RedMagic 8S Pro, on its imminent launch.

To this end, the GT5 is projected to launch as its OEM's inaugural 24GB RAM device on that date. A device called the "realme RMX3823" has appeared on Geekbench with the ground-breaking spec. It is paired with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor (as evidenced by its code-name walt), although it is the standard version with a 3.19GHz top clock, not the Leading Version with the overclocked 3.36GHz core.

Nevertheless, the silicon has propelled the "GT5" to single-core scores of ~2,000 and multi-core scores of well over ~5,000. Luckily for those who may not have the budget for the Android world's new top-end spec, a 16GB RAM SKU (the realme RMX3820) has also reportedly been spotted.
