So far, the Galaxy S24 is shaping up to be a mixed bag. Some of its aspects, such as battery capacity and charging speed, are slated to remain the same, while others, like its display specs, telephoto camera and screen real estate, get an upgrade. One can add extra storage to the latter if new information from a reliable tipster is accurate.
@Tech_Reve says the Galaxy S24 Ultra can be configured with up to 2 TB of internal storage, effectively matching its main competitor, the iPhone 15 Pro Max/iPhone 15 Ultra. There is no word about increased memory capacity with the aforesaid variant. It would be nice if Samsung tore a page out of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra's playbook and threw in 16 GB of RAM with the higher-end Galaxy S24 Ultra SKUs.
A previous Geekbench listing confirmed the Galaxy S24+ would still stick with 8 GB of memory, at least for the base variant. The base Galaxy S24 will undoubtedly follow suit, but the Galaxy S24 Ultra should ideally up the latter to 12 GB. This is still half of what some Chinese-origin smartphones, such as the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, Redmi K60 Ultra and Realme GT5.
