Honor has now brought the Magic V2 to Europe, having released the device earlier this summer in China. To recap, the Magic V2 is 156.7 mm tall, making it roughly as large as the Galaxy Z Fold5. However, the Magic V2 is also 74.1 mm wide and 9.9 mm thick when closed or 145.4 x 4.7 mm when open. Thus, the Magic V2's cover display has a 20:9 aspect ratio rather than the narrower and taller 23.1:9 aspect ratio that the Galaxy Z Fold5 offers.
Additionally, the Magic V2 weighs a mere 231 g, in part thanks to its lightweight titanium hinge. In other words, the Magic V2 is lighter than many of its peers, including the noticeably smaller Google Pixel Fold. Still, Honor equips the device with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 5,000 mAh battery and 16 GB of RAM.
Moreover, the Magic V2 packs 50 MP primary, 50 MP ultra-wide-angle, 20 MP telephoto and dual 16 MP selfie cameras. Please note that Honor has only optically stabilised the device's primary and telephoto cameras. Honor has not revealed Eurozone pricing for the Magic V2 yet; we will update this article when the company do so. Please see our original launch article for more details.
