Moto G54 5G: Motorola confirms Indian launch date as pricing emerges

Earlier today, Motorola released the Moto G84 5G in India, a direct successor to the Moto G82 with a Snapdragon 695-powered handset with a 120 Hz OLED display, among other features. Previously, the company had confirmed that it intended to launch the Moto G54 5G as well, but only in China. However, it turns out that the Moto G54 5G will also soon be available in India, where Motorola has already confirmed various device specifications.

As the image below shows, the Moto G54 5G will debut in India on September 6, a day after its Chinese release. As expected, Motorola has based the Moto G54 5G on the Dimensity 7020 chipset, as well as a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W wired charging via its USB 2.0 Type-C port. Additionally, the Moto G54 5G has a 6.5-inch IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 1080p native resolution, along with 50 MP primary, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 16 MP front-facing cameras.

While we cannot find any references to pricing yet, @yabhishekhd asserts that the Moto G54 5G will start at INR 14,999 (~US$181) with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
