Xiaomi 13T Pro, aka Redmi K60 Ultra, tipped to debut as Dimensity 9200-powered flagship smartphone in mid-2023
The Redmi K60 series of Android smartphones has launched with impressive upgrades thus far, yet is rumored to be incomplete, pending the arrival of an Ultra (rather than an experimental Extreme Edition) flagship by the end of 2023. It may be exclusive to China at first on its projected July 2023 launch, yet be subsequently unleashed elsewhere as the Xiaomi 13T Pro.
Xiaomiui asserts that this is the case based on the recent discovery of devices called the 23078RKD5C and 23078PND5G on the same IMEI database. The blog insists that they are the "K60 Ultra" and "13T Pro" respectively, yet that they are also one and the same, sharing a code-name (corot) and internal identifier (M12).
Should that be the case, the putative K60 Ultra (also allegedly spotted as "corot_pre" in code for the latest "MIUI-V23.4.7 internal build") and 13T Pro ("corot_pre_global") may also sport the new Dimensity 9200 processor from MediaTek. They are also rumored to exhibit a substantial design overhaul, although whether Xiaomi bothers to replicate the 200MP main shooter from their putative joint forebears remains to be seen.
