Xiaomi has certified the Redmi K60 Ultra in China ahead of its launch later this year. Anticipated to arrive as the Xiaomi 13T Pro globally, the pair will maintain Xiaomi's 120 W HyperCharge technology and not the company's 210 W or 300 W alternatives.

The Redmi K60 Ultra has appeared again online, a few weeks after Digital Chat Station shared a sketch of the unreleased smartphone. This time, the Redmi K60 Ultra has been spotted passing through 3C certification in China, a requisite for a smartphone being sold in Xiaomi's home market. As always, the 3C has referred to the Redmi K60 Ultra by its model number, not its marketing name.

For reference, IMEI database results linked 23078RKD5C to the Redmi K60 Ultra. Incidentally, the device is expected to launch globally as the Xiaomi 13T Pro. Based on recent Xiaomi T series releases, the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro are likely to arrive in the autumn between September and October. Seemingly, Xiaomi will continue to offer HyperCharge technology in its high-end Redmi K and Xiaomi T series smartphones, as it already does in the Redmi K50 Ultra and Xiaomi 12T Pro.

For context, Xiaomi demoed '300 W' wired charging earlier this year, although it maintained 280 W in laboratory conditions. Also, it offers 210 W fast charging in the Redmi Note 12 Pro Discovery Edition, which can recharge a 4,300 mAh battery in 9 minutes. In comparison, the Redmi K60 Ultra will feature 120 W wired charging, making it compatible with Xiaomi's 'MDY-14-ED' GaN charger. Xiaomi is rumoured to have paired the Redmi K60 Ultra with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset and a 144 Hz display, but it remains to be seen when the handset will be announced, let alone available to purchase.
