Asus' next non-gaming flagship smartphone is thought not to deviate hugely in size from its Zenfone 9 predecessor - however, it is projected to upgrade to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, thereby potentially becoming one of the smallest devices with this new top-end SoC.
Despite this, however, the Zenfone 10's updated chipset may not support Wi-Fi 7. Asus' registration with the Wi-Fi Alliance of today (June 20, 2023) is for a product with the model number ASUS_AI2302 (whereas the 9 is the AI2202), and connectivity that does not rise above the Wi-Fi 6 level.
The putative Zenfone 10's new independent assessment suggests that it will run Android 13 out of the box, which, as it will launch sooner rather than later, is entirely plausible. Then again, Asus has yet to show even the slightest sign of making an official announcement as to its launch date.
