The 2023 ASUS Zenbook 14X is now on sale at Best Buy for US$200 off the US$999.99 retail price (via slickdeals). After the discount, the final price of US$799.99 is the lowest the laptop has gotten in recent memory according to Honey’s price history tool.

The ASUS Zenbook 14X packs a 13th gen Intel Core i7-13700H CPU, 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory, 512 GB of PCIe Gen 4 storage, and Wi-Fi 6E. However, the star of the show is the touch-capable 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. ASUS rates the display for 100% DCI-P3 coverage which is what we measured in our review of the device.

We gave the ASUS Zenbook 14X a “very good” rating of 89% owing to the notebook’s excellent build quality, superb inputs, and speedy performance thanks to the Core i9-13900H featured in the review model. By comparison, the Core i7-13700H on offer appears 18% and 7% slower than the Core i9-13900H in the Cinebench R23 Multi-Core and Single-Core tests per our testing.

Thanks to a 70 Wh battery, the ASUS Zenbook 14X has excellent endurance as the laptop lasted for 10 hours in our WLAN test. The model on sale could last even longer as it has a less powerful Core i7-13700H.

All in all, if you are in need of a productivity laptop with strong performance and a beautiful display, the ASUS Zenbook 14X fits the bill rather nicely and is a pretty easy recommendation at the currently discounted price.
