Xiaomi Pad 6 Max: New giant tablet emerges with flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and 12 GB of RAM

More evidence that Xiaomi is preparing to release a third Pad 6 series tablet has surfaced online. To date, Xiaomi has launched the Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro, although only the former has been made available outside China so far. However, Geekbench has revealed various details about '2307BRPDCC', an unreleased model that is thought to be the Pad 6 Max.

As usual, Geekbench does not list the tablet's SoC by its marketing name. Instead, other details are shown, such as its 'ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 2 part 3400 revision 0' identifier and CPU core arrangement. On the one hand, the former corresponds with other Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1-powered devices, such as the Motorola Razr Plus and the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. On the other hand, its CPU clusters and clock speeds match those of Qualcomm's third fastest smartphone chipset behind the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, effectively a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2.

Additionally, it appears that Xiaomi has paired the Pad 6 Max with 12 GB of RAM, mirroring the Pad 6 Pro. Thus, these Geekbench leaks reinforce the idea that the Pad 6 Max is a larger version of the Pad 6 Pro, and not a more powerful variant. Based on past rumours, the Pad 6 Max will eventually arrive with a 14-inch display, as well as 67 W wired charging, quad speakers and three high-megapixel cameras. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when Xiaomi will deliver the Pad 6 Max and whether it will be available globally.
