Teclast T40 Air: New affordable tablet lands running Android 13 with 2K display
Teclast has expanded upon the T40 series, which was already at four members already with the T40, T40S, T40 Plus and T40 Pro. Now, it has introduced the T40 Air, a compact tablet that centres around a 10.4-inch IPS display. According to Teclast, the display outputs natively at 2,000 x 1,200 pixels with a 60 Hz refresh rate, a 120 Hz touch sampling rate and 350 nits peak brightness.
Additionally, Teclast combines the display with a Unisoc Tiger T616 chipset, 8 GB of RAM and a 7,200 mAh battery that supports 18 W wired charging. Moreover, the company boasts that the T40 Air weighs 460g and is 7.5 mm thick. However, these yield a footprint that is not dramatically different from other T40 series models.
Furthermore, Teclast includes 256 GB of storage that can be expanded with up to 1 TB MicroSD cards. Elsewhere, the tablet provides 13 MP rear and 8 MP front-facing cameras, although neither are optically stabilised. Currently, the T40 Air is available for €212,95 in a Space Grey finish with Android 13 pre-installed. Please see Teclast's website for more details.
