Oukitel may have a new flagship rugged handset in the works. The WP30 Pro reportedly dumps the camo chic of its predecessor for a more traditional 'toughphone' design packed with premium upgrades.
In fact, it seems the WP 30 Pro is coming for the Ulefone Armor 23 Ultra with Xiaomi 13 Pro-esque 120W charging. Then again, the pre-existing device might charge the faster of the 2 - albeit only because the Oukitel upstart boasts a much larger battery at 11,000mAh.
Nevertheless, it is touted to charge by 50% in as little as 15 minutes. There are other eerie similarities between the Oukitel and Ulefone devices, which include a 6.78-inch FullHD+ 120Hz display and an Android 13-based UI.
The WP30 Pro is also slated to run on the comparable Dimensity 8050 processor. Then again, it lacks the dual 50MP rear cameras of its probable Ulefone rival, preferring to go with a 108MP main shooter instead. That lens will be found next to the rugged smartphone world's latest rear-facing secondary screen.
Oukitel's latest feature-rich IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810H-rated smartphone is short of a launch date at present, although it is projected to start at US$329 with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
